The kid clearly attributed it to videogames himself when he said “Its fun to do bad things”. The fact that he stole a car suggests that either he hangs out with the wrong group of people or maybe he wanted to try it because he wanted to experience the real thing as apart from the video game. I am not anti-gaming in any way but it is possible that the game may have influenced him to do it couple with other factors.
You’re blaming it on video games… Seriously, dude? Are you one of those people who completely disregard all the evidence that videogames don’t influnce kids more than any other media outlet.

Its not a culture problem. The source of the problem is the negligence of the parents (a 7 year old should not be exposed to video games like GTA. His mind isn’t developed enough yet to understand right from wrong. He should be banned from playing those games at all until he receives help.
